What needs attention while developing a leadership development program?
  • Understanding the business context, identifying specific leadership skills required for the business context. Higher the specificity of the identified skill, higher the success of the program.
  • Integrating learnings into the work that is already being done by the leader. Learning is not additional to the work the leader does, it is integrated as part of their work.
  • Exploring why they do, what they do by diving deeper into their mindsets to uncover 
    mental models**. Mental models are your worldview which helps you understand life and guides your perception & behaviour. While mental models need not be perfect, exploring what about it enables or disables you can lead to thinking in new ways.
  • Monitoring and assessing the extent of behavioural change in a leader. By measuring the changes in; action (doing), in thought process (thinking) and by monitoring the career progression (being) and the business impact.

  • One on One Coaching: Supporting and creating an individual focus for development by exploring the mental models and creating systemic perspective.
  • Shadowing: Observing the leader in their natural / business-as-usual settings.
  • Integration with Business: Applying the learnings in their identified work area(s).
