The ICF-ACTC pathway offers a structured way to develop advanced team coaching competencies and align with global coaching standards. I see this as a natural progression in my growth as a coach and as someone committed to helping teams perform and collaborate at their best. One of the biggest shifts for me was moving from a mindset of trying to fix problems for the team to creating the conditions for the team to find its own insights and solutions. The learning has helped me shift from being primarily outcome-focused to paying greater attention to the quality of team conversations and relationships. I have developed a deeper appreciation for listening at multiple levels- individual, relational, and systemic. In practice, this means I now facilitate discussions that help teams explore underlying assumptions, communication patterns, and shared goals, enabling them to move forward with greater clarity and cohesion.
